No available LinkStation is found

Hello,

I have had my Linkstation Live LS-CH500L, Firmware Version 1.00 for some months now, wired into my Netgear router wireless WPN824v2. It is part of a home network with three laptops, an HP printer and a Wii console all connected wirelessly to the network. The security for the wireless network had been WEP but to make it stronger I changed it to WPA-PSK (TKIP) + WPA2-PSK (AES) the other day.

All my devices switched over seemlessly EXCEPT for the LS-CHL. It has disappeared from the network. It does not appear as an attached device in the router manager and NAS navigator can't find it. When I try to run Link Navigator it comes up with the "No available LinkStation is found" message.

I switched back to WEP to see if it would come back, but no, it is gone.

I have been searching the net and these forums for like problems without luck. I have all firewalls and McAfee disabled. I have changed ethernet cables, ports and even tried connecting directly to the computer. All with the same result, not found.

There are no flash codes indicating any problems with the nas. I have also tried booting it into EM mode but still nothing. nas navigator comes up blank and hitting refresh does nothing.

All my nework drives are "Disconnected" and I cannot seem to find a way to re-connect to them. I cannot get to my data now.

Any help or suggestions?

Hold down your windows key and push R.  It will bring up the run box.  From there type in \\192.168.xxx.xxx (what ever the Ip address is of the unit).  It should bring up your "shares" and then you can right click on them and map the network drive.  Make sure that you check the box for reconnect after log on and hit ok.

Forgot to mention that I tried that already, with multiple IP's since I don't know what the IP is now that I can't access it. The IP is assigned automatically.

Do you have Nas Navi 2?  If you do then you can check it there.  If you have already and its not showing any info then try to reset the unit.  HOld the reset down for about 15sec while the unit is booted up.

Yes, I have Nas Nav 2. I tried that and all I get is a blank window. I have reset it multiple times. Still doesn't appear. No flashing error codes either.
