Hello,

I cannot log in anymore, with the Web Admin to my Link Station LS-WSGL977.

I always logged in with " admin" and " password" the default setting.

I tried several times to reset the linkstation to its defaults. Starting up my linkstation by holdng the function button. After the blue light flashing pressing the button again for a reset.

It did not help. The web admin will not let me in.

I have no problem with seeing the disks and folders in my network, just the web admin.

Any suggestions ?

EDIT

I have read something here about a forced firmware update wich also can restore default settings. But the Buffalo LS-WSGL updater ver. 1.05 give me the message "LS-WSGL that needs updating wasn' t found."

EDIT

Found your topic about the forced firmware update. Did a forced firmware update. During the proces the updater program asked me for my admin password. I entered the default " password" and it was ok.

After a very long reboot (up to 10 min. was a little worried there) my LS-WSGL977 came back on. The web admin let me back in with the default user name and password

Good to hear that things worked out. We usually recommend the force firmware if the reset button fails. Let us know if you have any more issues.
