Hi, I'd like to know the drive models used in the 4TB version of the LS-Q quad storage system? I am thinking of buying one but I've been reading that there are a lot of problems with the 1TB Seagate Barracudas (the 500GB Barracudas are used in the 2TB version of the system).

Thanks

It depends, we use a variety of different big name HDD manufacturers (maxtor, seagate, hitachi ect.)

So, are you saying that the 4TB systems could come with drives from any of the big HD manufacturers? If that is the case, can anyone tell me the models of the driver regardless of manufacturer?

Secondly, does this mean that the systems work with any 1TB drive?

It has to be a 1tb Sata hard drive.

We don't specify speed of HDDs in our units, and there are restrictions of various HDDs that we use in manufacturing/assembly of the storage products.
