Before I found out in practice that Linkstation Live can not handle multiple print jobs, I gathered about 15 failed print jobs in the print queue. You can not see them in Mac but only in any connected Windows computer. However, you can not clear them from Windows, nor from web admin. Even firmware update on Linkstation does not clear the failed jobs.

After using print server with one job at a time and waiting until previous job is printed, I do not get so many fails any more. However, this is at least annoying.

Anyone has any idea how to clear these?

Sorry, let´s add some details: The product is Linkstation Live 500GB, HS-DH500GL with FW 2.10. This is third FW I am using and the problem follows any FW so far. It also means that even FW update does not clear the print queue.

Has anyone else ever had anything like this?

BTW, has anyone tried using a USB extender with Linkstations?

Paul

I have used usb extenders for additional hard drives, not with printers.

Paul, do you have any idea what could I do with the print queue?

Paul

I would disable any bi directional communications on the printer.  Also make sure you are using updated drivers for the printer as well.
