Same Here. Any DL BT creates a new folder (same name as DL) with file inside. Although sometimes I can delete the file inside the folder I can not delete the folder if its inside the bittorrent folder. I called support and they said they will address this in the next firmware. Wonder how long we have to wait.

PS. I noticed I can delete the files inside the folder through the BuffaloNas.com but not through local folders from share on PC. It still will not allow me to delete the actual container folder though.

I just hope they didn't tell me that just to brush me off without trying to go through steps of problem. Is easier to say , perhaps next firmware will fix it.

Decemeber is almost over and still no firmware. meanwhile my drive is getting full of useless folders and files.

I did have it working and then it stopped...

LS-CHL F/W 1.02

Tried disabling the Bittorrent functionallity and restarting, but no change.
Seems to be able to delete files inside folders, but then not the folder. It's properties says "Write protected" and you're unable to change it as it's grayed out.

It's only related to the Bittorrent folder. Everything else works properly.

I know this isn't really a solution but I found that by enabling web access you can login (even from your LAN) and you will be able to delete those unwanted folders. Hope this helps.

This only works 95% of the time. I have folders to this day that I can't delete even from the web interface. I think it could be due to fact that I tried deleteing the files inside the folder first through windows explore, which worked fine  but it would not let me delete the actual folder. Then when I go to web access and try to delete that folder I still can't delete it. I hope with the new firmware I will be able to go back and delete all these maveric folders.

Happy New year!

Another year and still no new firmware to address these issues. Why haven't we had any status update of what to expect ,  other then the usual "We will check on the status ....."

I also have this error.

And is there a way to make the bittorrent download manager secure, by adding a code?
