Hi,

I recently tried to update the firmware to version 1.06, to try and sort out some problems with the media server.  When i plug the drive in the power LED on the top just stays blue and the functin button will flash once.  I cannot find the drive under windows through the network or ip address i was using.

I have connected the drive directly to my computer and the network connection is ok, both light flash to show the connection, but i still can connect.  I am unable to update the firmware again as it is not found buy the update software.  Does anyone know what i need to do to sort this out?

Cheers,

john.

If you have it plugged in directly then you will need to set a static on your LAN.  If Nas Navi is showing an IP address of something like 192.168.11.1 you will need to set your static to 192.168.11.2.
