Hi.

As with my Terastation TS-WVH2.0TL/R1 the disks decided to fail (maybe worn out?) I'd like to replace them with 2 WD RE4 Disks with 2TB each but for some reason the Terastation refuses to discover them with EM boot.
So, is there any limit in size for the disks I could use?
Is there any workaround to get the disks functional with my unit?

Any suggestions?

Taking a look at the datasheet for the drives I don't see a specific reason they wouldn't work. Can you elaborate on how you are trying to lead the firmware and what error you're seeing?

I believe the firmware for that device can be found here:
http://buffalo.jp/support_ap/support/products/ts_wvhl_r1.html

You can create a USB recovery disk using this method:
https://buffalonas.miraheze.org/wiki/Create_Recovery_Disk_for_Intel-based_Terastation

And then install the firmware using TSUpdater in debug mode:
https://buffalonas.miraheze.org/wiki/Enable_Debug_mode

My fault, "No formatting" was still at "1"
Now it works perfect!
