Web Access app android - upload entire folder?

I have a Link Station 220 and would like to periodically backup my phone's photos and videos to it.  When I use the manual upload feature of the Buffalo Web Access android app, I can only upload one file at a time.  It offers to select files using my "gallery" or "photos" app, but neither option lets me select an entire folder or multiple files.

I have also tried the automatic upload feature.  However it only uploads files from my phone's internal storage, and skips the files on my phones microSD card.  Is there a way to change which folders are uploaded by the app?

I am having the exact same issue, was there any resolution to this?
