I have TS3410DN0804 unit with 4 drives configured in a RAID 5.
I noticed the info light was glowing red/amber
When I go into the web admin interface-->dashboard: I see the message "I12 : The RAID array is in degraded mode." at the top below the yellow information bar.
When I go to Storage-->RAID: I see Array 1  RAID 5  Degraded.
However when I click on "Array 1" all 4 drives under the status column read "Array 1/Normal" and on the enclosure none of the drive bays have a red LED all have blinking green LEDs.
My Firmware version is: 4.00-0.36
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have email notification setup? It should confirm which disk is causing the issue.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Contact support. This unit is under warranty, they'll be able to pull a log from the unit, determine which drive is failing and get you a replacement. Put your serial number in this page https://www.buffalotech.com/support.

That will give you the option for support through email/chat/phone.

Davo,
A new e-mail notification was sent this morning which does indicate which drive is failing(but has not failed yet).
So I guess that is why the led for that drive is not red. It must turn red after a drive has failed.
It also looks like it is important not to replace a drive that has a green LED while the terastation is powered on, which mine still does.
Instructions indicate to unmount the drive first or shut it down and then swap out the drive. Does this sound correct?
fyi here was the email I received, and thanks for the help.
Drive 1  [Normal]: No errors occurred.
Drive 2  [Normal]: No errors occurred.
Drive 3  [Notice]: Bad sectors have been detected.
Drive 4  [Normal]: No errors occurred.

Bad sectors have been detected on drive 3. Replacing the original drive with a new drive is recommended before the drive malfunctions.
Refer to the following page for information on drive replacement.

That's a TS3410, it will not have WD Green drives. As I said, contact support. It's under warranty. They'll get you a replacement drive.

Are these not the original drives? WD green is a desktop class drive, this unit should ship with NAS class drives.
