Hi Please can you help, i have a hdce1 otu2 buffalo hard drive on my old computer which is xp home

 

 

can i just unplug this and put it into my new computer windows vista ?

 

Will all my files from my old computer be on that external storage ? how can i check ?

 

please help in simple explananation as i really dont know much about computers ?

Given that the drive is formatted to a windows based file system (FAT32 or NTFS) it will work on most Windows operating systems. This does include XP and Vista. What files you've already stored on the unit should still be available.
