I just purchased another linkstation and would like to know of the fastest way to transfer files from one linkstation to another. Copying and paste seems slow. Thanks

the fastest way:
use gigabit ethernet

a very old pc between the 2 nas can slow down the copy speed
but i am thinking, this is not your problem
many routers can only tranfer 100MBit = 10MB/s

my german howto to copy between 2 nas without using a pc

Whats the model number of the Linkstations? You can probably just preform a backup on the admin page from one to another.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!
