What issues do I face in replacing a bad enclosure LS220?

I suddenly could not see my LS220 on my network (interrogating the router).  The NAS Navigator app could not find it either. I could not shutdown with the red push button on the back.  Removing the front cover showed red light failure on both drives.

Assuming that both drives would probably not fail simultaneously, and no unusual noises, I ordered a new diskless enclosure of the same model.

What are the steps and considerations for starting up the new enclosure with the old disks?  Just plug 'em in and go?
