HD-H300LAN

Hi,

I have bought a Linkstation Network device some 2,5 years ago, a HD-H300LAN (Europe, Finland to be precise). Worked rather well, but now it suddenly is absolutely dead. No sign of life whatsoever. No lights, no beep, no nothing.

I guess this means the power inlet is down, or something similar, or is there something I can do about it? Not sure about warranty, 1 or 3 years?

edit: to follow the forum-rules: firmware is the originally shipped version 2.05 if I recall right (can´t access anything) I am using win XP pro.

Unfortunatley if it is not powering on all you can do is data recovery.  The warranty was 1 year.

Well, I suspected something like that. I guess it has been a hard life.

What about changing the power-supply, are there anywhere specs of the power-supply?

I don't think the PSU is available for user purchase.

E: The DC jack on the device would need to be re-soldered and that is something we definitely won't give a walkthrough on. My apologies :(
