We've got 15 Terastations of varying models in our organization. We've had repeated issues whenever there's been a power outage, and sometimes for no reason whatsoever, wherein everyone loses access to the restricted folders they previously had access to. Once I check the terastation I find that there are 0 users and 0 groups. The AD Domain appears to still be joined, so I have to change it to Workgroup and then back, which brings back the users/groups and AD Domain but then I have to reset all folder permissions as they are all gone. How can I stop this from happening?

Backup the configuration and ut the units on a UPS?

After a brownout the unit will lose AD connectivity and so users/group will not be imported until you rejoin the domain.
