Found an old hard drive that we used to use wirelessly with old Windows computers. Can I just plug it into my Macbook and get my data? I also have a Windows 7, but I'd like to transfer the data via USB cable rather than over network just for convenience.

Is this possible? Or should I try to install NAS Navigator on my 2010 Macbook? I plugged it in via USB but nothing's happening.

Thanks.

That device is a NAS, it won't work as an external USB drive. It must be connect via a network.
