Does any one have the boot file for one of the original terrastations.

HD-HTGL

I am able to see it in my NAS navigator and I can get it to go into emergancy mode but from the link in the sticky I am unable to find my model number can any one please help.

Thanks

You just need to install the firmware.  You nearly gave me the exact model number.  It would be HD-HX.XTGL/R5 (the X.X is the size of the unit.)  Hope this helps

I have the 1.0 version

I tried updateding the firmware but it will not work.

What had happened is I lost two drives so the RAID unit failed.  I installed two new ones and now am looking on how to get it working again.

Thanks

PCPiranha

Delete the Raid array and recreate it in the web interface.

Ok I got it to work.  Just used the Japanese firmware version 2.10.  Had to install it twice for it to finnally get installed

File can be found here

Im glad that this worked for you however that firmware link was not from an actual buffalo site so I will have to delete that link as per our forum guidlines.

What I'd prefer is that you TRY and work with people with issues.

Tech support sucks period, so if someone posts something helpful like firmware try and be a little less **bleep** and more helpful.

That's the problem these days as far as helpdek support, there seems to be none.

Shall I prove my point or would you rather just conciede?

The link provided was a link to a third party firmware, how can they recommend other people use it without it being tested.

If the link was to remain their and another person uses it (for what ever reason) and it ends up bricking the unit then they go and blame the mods on this forum.

Although i at not a mod on this forum and don't always agree with them i have to agree with the link being removed.

FYI: "Conciede" is actaully spelt "concede"
