hey fellas,

looking for some help, i purchased a TeraStation III iSCSI barebones, and put a set of 4 disks in, started up expecting it to begin the process of setup, but im getting nothing.. its picking up both DHCP ips. but i cannot connect to that either, both are refused..

the updater tool spots the nas, but doesnt allow it to pickup the firmware, or flash the firmware...

any ideas on how to get this box up and running ??

What version of the updater are you running? What is the exact error you get when you run the updater? What is the exact model of the device, it should be in EM mode with new disks.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

TERASTATION™ III
TS-IXL\R5
TS-IX2.0TL/R5-EU

NasNavigator2 doesn't see anything.
i can ping both IPs and they respond, same network, same subnet etc.
Firmware updater - 06-04-2015 - 1.66
No Partition Found - which isn't surprising as these are new discs

Thanks for any help.

anyone have any ideas ?

You need to format the disks during the installation of the firmware.

Modify the file LSUpdater.ini :

NoFormatting = 0
