LS-XHL in EM-Mode - How to flash Firmware with macOS Sierra?

Hey guys!

I´m running a Linkstation XHL and after a power failure the LS is in EM-Mode. So i have to flash the firmware to get the NAS ready again. My Problem is that i don´t find a firmware-updater that runs with macOS Sierra.
Can anyone help? No way that i have to bring the LS to the trash...?!

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I cannot get firmware update to work in Sierra and my Linkstation is in Emergency Mode.
