Need Solution to IP Address Change and Web Setting Access Problems on LS-XL

I have a LS-XL Series device attached to a Linksys Router used with a MacBook Pro. Back in November 2016 I momentarily (like 3 hrs) moved to an AT&T router and switched back to my Linksys. During the switch all of my IP addresses (including DHCP reservations) changed. I made the update on all devices, but the LS-XL. Yesterday, when investigating my backup failure, I noticed the device still has the old DHCP reservation. The automatic IP update didn't work and neither did the manual update for the IP address. The same pop up response to the IP change and when trying to access the web setting, is "failed to authorize password". I changed the default password some time ago. Now I cannot access or change anything - when I'm entering the correct password. All firmware is up to date. If it's a simple password issue, then there should be a way to change the password. I don't believe it's truly a password issue. It's also frustrating to have to enter this issue on a message board instead of speaking with an actual person. I need this issue resolved immediately. Has anyone found a path forward from this problem? Please share your success story!

Thanks,
SH

Thanks Davo!

So, without a PC I'm basically up a creek. Is there absolutely no remedy for Mac users? Sigh
I presume I would have to get access to a PC, install NASNavigator, then run the LSRecovery file to be able to change the password???
