Have Linkstation LS201 - failed backup job - how do i clear blinking status light ?     backup job failed to run on next scheduled date - why ? will it run again - how do i get process back in operation ?

I have the same issue. I have a TeraStation TS3410D81C running firmware 4.42.

NAS Navigator 2 repeatedly posts a pop-up to say that "a backup job has failed". I am aware that the supposed way to stop this is to edit the back up job in settings, and yet when I go to my settings I have no jobs scheduled. I am also aware that I can ask NAS Navigator to stop sending this notification until a new search is performed or the NAS is restarted, but these would be only temporary fixes.HOW CAN I STOP THE POP UPS PERMANENTLY?

Anyone, please?

Toppie

I think I have the solution. A recent firmware update to 4.54-05 (for my model terastation) has put a new button on the settings dashboard which I'd not seen before for info/events, it said "Clear" so I hit it and now the notifications have stopped, much to my relief. I hope you find the same solution.
