Can't get LS-Q4.0TL/R5 out of Emergency Mode

I have 4 1TB drives installed.  The other night it slowed to a crawl, so I followed the procedure to put it into emergency mode (like an idiot).  Now, I can't get it back to non-emergency mode.  I have tried (as tech support said) connecting directly to a switch, and hard-coding the IP.  I have also attempted removing all of the drives one at a time, to no avail.  When I try to flash the firmware using the Nav utility, it tells me that "there are no devices requiring an update".  I've even tried to modify the .ini file and set the "check version" bit to 0, all to no avail.

Help!
