Hello,

My unit failed 1 year ago because of the USB Connector being stripped away from the interface board. I postponed the fix until today since I was a student and could not figure a low cost solution to recover the key data from my classes. I just tried unsuccessfully a SATA/USB converter which allowed Windows Vista to see the drive but failing to read any data.
I was wondering if anyone knows that the interface board (bar coded id= 336139210FD1) is purchasable from Buffalo and if not, whom else?
