Buffalo TeraStation - daily mail notification ends after some weeks

Hello Experts and Users,

our Terastation TS3400 works fine -
only the daily mail notification works for only for some weeks,
and then stopps.

Only a reboot of the Terastation helps.
but we cant reboot during workdays, every 4 or 6 weeks.

actually a testmail from the terastations webfrontend suceeded well.
in the logs of terastation are no errors or mail-dependend entrys.
a deacivate and activation of the email-notification during this uptime, doesnt helps.

are there some solvings or knowings to this problem ?

What firmware are you using?

There was a bug fixed on 3000 regarding notification emails not too long ago.

we are driving firmware version 1.12.

have seen, ther is a newe one - named 1.60.

we would try, if there is no other hint or tipp.

The 1st thing you should be doing is updating the firmware.
