Cloudstation = Lame Duck

OK, laugh. I bought a Cloudstation. Its useless. I am however convinced I should be able to get it to do what I want (which isn't much). Any help or assistance would be appreciated.

The abbreviated story so far.

1. Bought Cloudstation primarily for its PERSONAL CLOUD capabilities.

2. Packaged with Pogoplug software for remote access from phone etc

3. Has never allowed direct file upload (from phone camera) to Buffalo device, upload was only possible to Pogoplug Cloud - Hence not a personal cloud (mis-sold product)

4. Pogoplug & Buffalo fall out.

5. Pogoplug remove access to their Cloud. Hence no back up from phone.

6. Have tried what I assume are equivalent Buffalo Apps WEB ACCESS & SMART PHONE NAVIGATOR

7. Smart Phone Navigator can "find" the Cloudstation but when I try to access I get a SETUP FAILED - COMMUNICATION HAS TIMED OUT message.

8. It MUST be possible to resolve this so I can access the unit remotely, just that no one at Buffalo or Pogoplg gives any concern to their customers.

I cannot be the only chump that bought the Cloudstation ? Help please.
