Error "TeraStation not Detected"

I am setting up 4 of the 3500 NAS units and getting this message while in the browser setting up the NAS.  I have tried different browsers with same issue. 

Error: TeraStation not detected

I have looked at this being a network/firewall issue but if it was firewall it would not make connection in the first place.  Network, well I have it mapped and connecting just fine even when this error occurs.  I can refresh the browser and it will let me in again for about 10-15 seconds then displays this error and does not allow me to do anything.  I was able to do the updates but this did not fix it.  I am currently seeing this when looking at the storage folder in edit. 

anyone seen or seeing this?

UPDATE:  I think this is an issue connecting to AD, I am working on the second one and it was doing ok but once I connected it to AD it started displaying this message.  I really need these connected to AD so that I can use an AD group to control permissions.

This definitely sounds like a network error. Have you contacted support?

not yet, I was googling and searching forms before contacting Buffalo.  I know its not the network as I have other NAS at this location doing the same setup on the same network without problems.  The buffalo drives is the only difference and only happens after migrating into AD.

Make certain that the domain controller is listed as the first DNS server for the TeraStation and verify that the time zone is set correctly. These two things are critical.

I have several units in the lab authenticating against AD and it typically works fine if all the variables are correct.
