Hi

I have a LS421DE NAS. I have tried to update wireless teh firmaware and it failed. After that I can See the NAS in EM Mode with the the updater software.

The version of the firmware I was trying to install was 1.81

Now I am trying to updated the NAS with 1.34 since I read that the 1.81 is buggy

But when I connect to the NAs via the updater software I get erro asking me to set the same submask for the IP for the PC and the NAS.

So I have booted the PC in Safe mode with active Network

But still get the error

IS anyone having the same issue?
And if yes how do you solved it?

Thanks a lot for the help

Regards

Alberto

Hi Again,

Update status:

I have connected:

1) the PC to the router

2) the NAS to the router

Started the Updater software

But when I am trying to start to upload the firmware a get:

"Partition Not Found. Aborting Firmware update"

What can I do for solving this issue?

Is it possible to save the data in the 2 2TB hdd eventually?

thanks for the help

Regards

Alberto
