LinkStation Duo - LS-WXL - FTP issue

Hi there,

The NAS has been good so far with me
I use FileZilla as FTP client and it used to work no problem previously. But just a few days ago, it suddenly said:

"Server sent passive reply with unroutable address. Using server address instead"
"Command:   MLSD
Error:   Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error:   Failed to retrieve directory listing"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you have any idea of what maybe going wrong in here (what is the error message about)? I have enabled FTP service on my NAS of course (and it used to work in the past last year). I have also forward port 21 to the NAS as well.

What else do I have to check?

Did you make sure the FTP service was enabled on the folder you wish to use for FTP?

Yes, I have enabled the FTP service for the folder that I want to connect to... not working yet...
Reboot the NAS, same thing...

Is the FTP service working locally using the Linkstations local IP in filezilla?

Hi Davo,
At the moment, I am not around the NAS just yet to test its local IP. But I use a paid Dyndns account and set up this in the Router. Then I have also forwarded the port 21 to the NAS.
From the browser, I was able to use ftp://mydyndnsaccount and get the directory listing, so the Dyndns account does work.
The FileZilla still keeps saying the same...

If its working on the browser then the issue is not the Linkstation.
