Service & Support in Thailand Unacceptable

I had a problem with my HD-LXU3 series 3TB/USB3 drive and ECS (the support agent here in Thailand) said that Buffalo has instructed that all products are sent to Japan for repair or replacement.

Note that this is entirely unacceptable as it is 25-30 days to get the product either repaired or replaced.

So what it means is that I had to purchase another disk drive for image editing.

Please will Buffalo answer why you sell products in a country like Thailand and have no support?

You do know that these are US based forums?! Different regions have different returns policies.

Yep. But there is only one forum for Buffalo.

Can't speak to other regions' policies. It's all going to be dependent on export laws and what capabilities are located in country.
