I had a power outage that took out some setting on my terastation. Had to download firmware to get setting back. Once it came back it said that I had a bad hard disk in the number 2 slot. I currently have four X 250 gb running on raid 1 with two drives mirroring the other two. Do I have to replace with a 250gb replacement?Once I replace the drive is anything further required or should it automatically catch up?

Thanks.

We only support putting the correct size HDD in the TS.  If you put a larger one in however, it should scale to size.  Once you replace the drive you should just have to restructure the RAID array.

Also please make sure to include a model number for the unit you are referring to.
