TS1200D NAS blocked by switches

I just hooked up the NAS. If I hook it up to a port on my wireless router, everything appears to work fine. However, computers connected to the network through a switch (TP-Link TL-SG108) can't see it. They can ping it. If I connect the NAS to the switch (which is where I want it) then none of the computers can see it. The switch is unmanaged. I tried a different unmanaged switch and had the same problem. Is there some setting on the TS1200D that I could change to eliminate the problem?

By 'can't see it' what does that mean exactly?

If in windows you try to open \\NASName\sharename what happens?

Do you have NAS Navigator installed?
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
