Hello, I'm hoping someone can help.

I've just bought a Linkstation 220D and am having problems with the Navigator software. I have a Mac with 10.11.1 OS and have downloaded the software from Buffalo and followed the instructions to install it. However whenever I try to start it it briefly appears, says it's scanning and then disappears completely. As far as I know I have set up the 220D correctly, although when I first turned it on it was showing a solid red light, but after turning it off and back on it now shows a solid white light. I've uninstalled the software and downloaded it again with the same thing happening.

Any help appreciated,

An update on this, this is definitely an Apple/Buffalo problem as I have got everything up and running on my PC. The firmware has been updated (it was an amber light, not red, and reappeared after switching the unit on and off) and I'm able to use the Navigator software on my Windows 10 PC. I would be interested to know if anyone has got Navigator working with El Capitan on a Mac?

I'm running the latest version, 2.82, on El Capitan with no problems. It's probable that another piece of networking software, like a firewall, is interfering with NAS Navigator.

Also using the software on El Captain without issue.
