Hi... I can't find clear instructions for setting up a LinkStation LS441D to act as a backup destination for multiple Macs. I created folders for each machine, but can only pick one of those folders under Backup -> Time Machine (in the Buffalo settings web interface)... can only one folder be used for Time Machine backups?

I do have one Mac backing up via Time Machine to a folder that does NOT have Time Machine set for it in the Buffalo interface... and it seems to be backing up fine...?

Any suggestions?

thanks.

Create one share that has Time Machine turned on, then you should be able to set each Mac to create a subfolder for itself on the unit to keep everything separate.
