Hello there,

i have setup my NAS and everything seems to be working fine. Even webaccess, but the moment i leave the office and try to get on webaccess from home, it becomes impossible. I get an error saying: (this webpage is not available, err_connection_refused) -_-.

I called up buffalo and they said i should open my port and i need to call my router company thingy to know how to do so. I am not technical at all when it comes to these things, so i called up Cisco for info and they couldn't help as they only provide support for companies, which is a bit stupid. After some research online, i managed to access my routers configuration (linksys E500 or 1500 not sure), then i went to single port forwarding and i put in the details for my internal port 9000 / external port 900 / ip address and checked the box enable and still this hasn't resolved my problem. (i have also tried setting different external ports, and doesn't work).

Can anyone please help?

Thanks a mill!
