Hi,

I need urgent help. The machine is not in warranty (not even phone support) and Buffalo does not have any paid support as of now.

I want to connect by RAID 5 TeraStation Pro 2 (TS-H2.0TGL/R5-US) to Windows 7 PC and retrieve the data already present.
This machine was previously connect to a network and was used as a filer. It was part of a workgroup.

I have tried several things and nothing has worked out.

0) Disabled Symantec firewall and removed Symantec endpoint protection.
1) Connected NAS to machine with patch cable.
2) Executed NAS Navigator 2, machine was not recognized.
3) Tried to access the web interface admin screen, but it is not recognizing admin password.
4) The IP address displayed on the machine (192...) is different from what I get when I execute IPconfig.

Please help me connect to PC and retrieve data.

PS: I connected the device to a Ubuntu machine and ran NAS navigator 2. The machine showed up, I could access the settings etc. But, I was not able to access data.
