I'm trying to set up a shared folder that multiple systems will have access to. I'm finding that when either the PC reboots or the system goes in to sleep mode, they lose connection and credentials need to be entered again. Using the credential manager under control panel doesn't seem to work any better, even after I recreated the shares after entering in the info. On top of that I can't seem to figure out how to do an anonymous share (which would be perfect for this situation since the data is not sensitive whatsoever.

I'm wondering what other people have done in a non-AD environment to keep automated systems able to access the folders on the NAS?

Thank you in advance for any advice you have!

Is there another forum somewhere that may be able to help?
