Old Terastation

I have an old terastation TS-TGL600
The issue is can not use security and user access to the disk.
Once I enable it, I create a user with the same name as the windows user who is accessing the device and use the same password as well.

But will always deny access, this only started to occur once I upgraded to firmware version 1.12 but cant go back down now either..

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
