I know this issue has been reported in the forum quite a number of times. But I can't seem to find a thread that actually contains a genuine solution.

I've tried everything from upgrading firmware from 1.65 > 1.69, resetting linkstation to factory settings, trying different buffalonas names, port forwarding in router, following the steps in the manual, etc. But the moment I click on the save button after trying to enable webaccess in the linkstation, it stucks at the "Saving data" progress bar like forever. I can't even cancel the process anymore and the whole settings page will become inaccessible until I power off and on the NAS.

Btw I'm using Linkstation Pro Duo.

I am actually having the same issue! Haven't tried updating to the latest firmware yet, but it sounds like that won't help.

Is UPNP disabled? Also you can try either reapplying the same firmware but in debug mode and set up the options to delete all the settings in the unit. (If you want me to explain how to do this let me know)

If not You can try creating another user, add them to the admin group, login as them and see if you get the same issue with webaccess.
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people
