How can I reset this hard drive and start over from scratch?

What is your model of the unit?
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people

At first you submit your model unit. When you are submitting model, please post a link. Link is the most important part of the model.

The model is a Link Station Ls210D0201 firmware 1.43.
The Unit is working fine but I believe that a firmware update is available

Same problem on a TS-6vh12TL/r6 but as yet no definative answer that i can find. Would appreciate if you found a solution.
