Erasing Disk... too long

I hv a NAS hardisk Buffalo NAS LSWVL 1, and I am using 2x2TB 7200rpm,64MB, Hitachi harddisk, when I client erasing disk. It takes me 21 hrs for 1/4 task, see attachment, but I check this at the menu, menu said only few mins, what is the problem ?

Time changes base off usage and data it deletes. This is not that long to be honest. I have seen days
