if I hook up an external USB hard drive to the Linkstation Pro Duo, will it be recognized/supported if that drive is formatted in NTFS?

I currently own a Buffalo Drive Station Combo (HD-CElU2 1.0TB) and it is currently formatted in NTFS because I have some files that are larger than 4 gigs I was forced to reformat drive out of the box.  I am happy with the performance of the DriveStation thus far and I was thinking about getting a Linkstation Pro Duo but only if the pro duo will support my drive station as is right now, with the NTFS file configuration.  Please advise.
