As I would like to use a "Internet Radio" Hardware using Squeezecenter for listening music I wondered if it is possible to install Squeezecenter on a TeraStation III (Firmware: 1.02).

The built-in Media Server works fine and until now I'm using that for listening music.

I found various instructions on how to set up Sqeezebox on LinkStations but I don't know if it would work the same way for the new TeraStation.

We are using Windows XP and Vista in a normal Windows Network.

Thanks!

Hi Kruim, know what you mean. But this requires a change on the device what voids the warranty. (open up the firmware, install something and so on....) In the forum rules is engraved in stone that this is not supposed to be a topic here. I already got nailed :-) Even if I say what you are officially not supposed to do- who knows..... :-x

Hi!

Ah, sorry, I had a look in the forum rules but apparently I didn't look good enough. Sorry for that. (If any moderator wants to, please delete the topic then)

But it's good to know it would void warranty because it means I stay with the included MediaServer which works fine!

Thanks!
