WHR-G125 Does Not Boot

Hello All,
I'm new to the forum but I've had this router for about 7 years. It has worked flawlessly up until now. When it is plugged in, the right green light comes on but there is no activity in any of the other lights. Support suggested replacing the firmware but there is no way to apply it unless it's booted up. Does this mean it's now trash or does anyone have other thoughts before I have to puchase another unit?
