Hi All,

I've seen plenty of people have this issue and nearly all of them have been resolved, but I've tried this resoltions and they've not fixed my issue so wondering if I've missed something or I'm just doing it plain wrong.

I'm trying to set up WebAccess so I can access my router when at work, I've follow all instructions by Buaffalo and also look at other resolutions by other people but it just won't set up and time outs.

I've clicked onto the folder I want to share, click advanced and have;
Web Access Service; Enable
HTTPS/SSL Encryption; Enable
Use BuffaloNAS.com; Enable

Buffalonas.com Name; Set
Buffalonas.com Key; Set
DNS Hostname; N/A

Auto Configure Firewall (UPNP); Disable
External Port; 9000
NAS Internal Port; 9000

Exclsuive Session; Disable
Session Time; 30 Min (Unlimited Unticked)

Then I'll click Save and it'll save Saving Data, leave it for about 10Mins then It'll come back saying 'The Current Session has expired. Please sign in again'

My LinkStation is 'LinkStation DUO LS-WX2.0TL/' and using a Sky Netgear White Router, can't find model number for it.

Any help would be great, ripping my hair out about this!

Many Thanks,
Dan

Hello d444nyc,

So when you hit save, it states "Saving Data" does that part ever go away or it will stay like that and then time out? if so I would suggest upgrading the firmware if anything or a factory reset on your unit.

Here is the firmware for your unit.
http://buffalotech.com/support-and-downloads/download/ls_series-165.zip

Also here is the product page site for anything you might ever need for your unit like software, manual, etc.

Also please remember webaccess doesn't actually give you access to your router or other computers on the network. it just opens a door to the outside for you to access your share folders that you setup and allow to be used in webacces. I also don't recommend the https/ssl if you are going to use the app on android or apple.

Also did you port forward the port 9000 in your router?
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people
