Hello i am trying to backup 800Gb to external usb
my terrastation is the HS-DHTGL/R5
firmware 2.14

but is more than 24h and still the backup is being carried out
but i can also see on the home menu that for more than 10 hours the usb says the same 293Gb

Can you please help me ?

And how much should last e terrastation, i mean after how many years someone should change it ?

Replacing that TeraStation is likely a good idea, mean hard drive age is right at 3 years.

I'm not at all familiar with this model, the USB drive has to be formatted EXT3 to be a backup target on later TeraStations. That sounds like your issue with the second drive.
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**

Do you mean to replace all the terrastation nas or the hard drives ?
The usb hdd is formated from the terrastation in in xfs
