Linkstation connected to wifi laptop- but not to hard wired desktop

So usually when I have an issue with my linkstation it's that I can't connect to it from my laptop.  Today is the opposite....I can access the linkstation with no issue from my laptop but can not access it from my desktop.  I already had it mapped and would access it from My Computer.  When I click on the drive I have assigned to it I get an error.  When I try to map it again it doesn't show up.   When I click on Network it shows up as a Media Device but does not show up under Computer.   

The laptop and desktop are on the same network....one hard wired one on wifi

Hmmm....any help here would be appreciated
