Hello,
My two HDD are broken, same time (seems to be a logical error, on a raid 1, mirrored)
i bought two news HDD, but impossible to boot the terastation...

Impossible to find a 5200 iso (i only found a 5400 one on this forum)

Buffalo support... doesn't support a lot :-(

so... does anyone know how i can boot my terastation now?

Thanks a lot

davo

Should be able to make a boot image from my 5200 if you want. Will take a day or two though.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Hey,

I'm in a similar situation.  Does anyone have this file accessible?

It would be much appreciated.

DaverJ

I also am in need of a boot image for a 5200.  A TS5200D0602 to be more precise.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Eastmarch

As Davo had mentioned, you can make one from a bootable TS5x00.

**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**

DaverJ

Understood, unfortunatly, I do not have a working unit to do this with, as my drive1 has died.  I did find a iso for a 5400 online, but I am assuming I need a model specific one?

Eastmarch

No. an initialization USB drive will reimage any TS5x000. For those of you with data you are worried about, don't do this without a backup. (See my signature)

I can get the image from mine again if you want, might take a day or two though, bit busy at the moment.

You can download an image from the Buffalo website. Check the downloads page for your model under utilities.

The update file from the website didn't work for me. It says "update failed" all the time. Can you reup the image?
