Enabling webaccess hangs on saving data - linkstation pro quad

I recently updated to the lastest 1.68 firmware. when i go to enable webaccess on easy setup it hangs on saving data.

I have:

            Setup a static I.P and made sure the default gateway and dns are set to the I.P of my router

            Tried enabling in chrome,internet explorer and firefox with all addons disabled

            Restored the settings to factory after firmware update.

I used the LSupdater tool from the buffalo site to update the firmware. Torrents and dlna work fine.

First of all, reset it via the admin page (System - Restore/Erase - Restore Linkstation)

sorry i wasn't clear. When i said i restored the settings to factory default. i meant resetting it via the admin page.

As soon as i restored it the first thing i tried was enabling webaccess.

EDIT: i just rolled back the firmware to 1.65 and still am having problems. im guessing it must be a browser or router issue?

Same here. Did you ever find a resolution for this? I'm trying to find a way to roll back even further than v1.65.

There is nothing wrong with 1.68 for webaccess. Redownload the firmware and do a force update. Then after the update is done restore the unit and try again.
