For some reason when I first plugged in my drive station it installed itself on my computer as files.  I was wondering why this happened.  For some reason the station will not register as a removable drive on the computer.  Also I tried to access the station on another computer and it was found there, however I could not access it at all.

 

Any help will be appreciated.

Does it show up in disk managment?  If so, what options do you have when you right click on it?  Does it show as being formatted and/or initialized?
