I recently bought a LinkStation Pro Duo 2-Bay Diskless Enclosure (LS-WVL/E).
Unfortunately I plugged in a disk that I was using previously and it was formatted by the LinkStation
during setup.

Is there anyway to recover the old data now ? Or does the format actually zero out everything on disk.
I had several partitions midway through the disk which is where most of data was, so wondering if
I could reconstruct the partition ?

Appreciate any help !

doubtful you would be able to recover any data since the original partitions would of been erase and then rewritten. Your best best would be a professional data recovery company but it will cost you.

Did you not read the part in the quick setup guide that says "Original data on a new HDD will be deleted"
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
