I just purchased a Terastation ES, but it never once occurred to me that any professional storage solution would be impossible to manage directly (command line or web access) without a separate management application. I am primarily going to be working with FreeBSD and Linux, so having to spin up a Windows VM to manage my somewhat pricey new NAS server is not desirable. What are my options?

Log onto the device using its IP and manage it that way? Nas navigator is not neeưed.

Thanks. The insert should say that and include things like the default username and password.
